Please kindly read these terms and conditions carefully before using the site. These Terms and Conditions of use govern the access to and use of www.thegentlerosejewelleryco.com.

 

Registration.

To enable purchases to be made on the site, you will be required to register with thegentlerosejewellerco.com. Your information must be accurate, true, current and complete. To fulfil an order, your name, phone number, email address and other required information needs to be supplied. To purchase from us you must be over 18 years of age.  Furthermore, you will be required to provide payment details that you represent and are both valid and correct and that you confirm you are the person referred to in the Billing information that has been provided.
Once you have created an account with The Gentle Rose Jewellery Co, please safeguard your account password & details which should be unique. If and when any of your account information changes, please notify us via email; deb@deborahfisher.net. We do not use the information that you provide to learn any more about you other than what is required to fulfil your orders successfully. We may occasionally write to you , with your permission, for news or offers from The Gentle Rose Jewellery Co. We will not share you information with any other company or third party. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy on how your data is used by The Gentle Rose Jewellery Co. 
Orders, Terms of Sale and Payment
The website offers the current payment services -Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal.
Personal bank transfers are at the sole discretion and agreement by Deborah Fisher @ The Gentle Rose Jewellery Co.
Personal Cheques are acceptable, however, please allow 5 full working days from their receipt, for clearance before an order can be accepted.
When you have made your choice of product from the website, click on 'add to shopping bag' then 'proceed to purchase'. We will send an email to you from the Gentle Rose Jewellery Co, confirming that we have received your order.
This is to acknowledge receipt of the order. We can accept and finalise the order once The Gentle Rose Jewellery Co has received full and cleared funds or confirmation of authorisation for the payment. At this point we will send a Confirmation of Order email, to the email address provided in the registration details. This acceptance of order signifies a legally binding contract between you and The Gentle Rose Jewellery Co. 

 

Delivery 

Your order will be despatched to the postal address that was provided at the time of order placement.  It is your responsibility to correctly provide the address for despatch. If your order is returned because the postal or courier service could not deliver the goods due to incorrect address details or any other reason, you will be responsible for the re-delivery costs.

We use the Recorded & Special Delivery services offered by the Royal Mail to ensure that your order reaches you safely and securely. These services require a signature and we would ask that you ensure somebody is available to do this and take delivery of the goods. 

Orders for Silver will usually be despatched within 5-7 working days, from receipt. If, exceptionally, there is a delay, we will be in touch swiftly and listen to your requirements and find the best solution for you.

Orders for Vermeil, Rose or Yellow Gold, will normally be despatched within 7-10 working days.

If for any reason we are not able to fulfil this, we shall contact you by email.

Orders placed on the weekend or after 2pm on weekdays will be processed the next working day. 

Our prices for all UK delivery addresses are as follows:

Standard Delivery - £5.00 Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded (signature required)

Special Delivery    - £7.95 Next Day Service by 1pm (signature required)

 For the Special Delivery Next Day service due for despatch on a Friday,      the guaranteed delivery day will Monday, the next working day. This    service is not available on Saturday, Sunday & Public Bank Holidays.

European & Worldwide

-By Royal Mail International Signed For Service. This usually takes 5 - 14 days.

Product Guarantee

We are delighted to provide a Gentle Rose Jewellery Co guarantee for 12 months, for normal conditions of wear and tear. Please kindly read the section about Jewellery Care.
Our production standard for Gold Vermeil is 1.5 - 2 Microns. The plating on gold Vermeil jewellery ( excluding Rose & Yellow Vermeil Gold Rings, which carry a 6 month guarantee. )* is also guaranteed for 12 months, under normal wear and tear.  Therefore if your piece needs re-plating within this period of time, we will re-plate, free of charge. After 12 months we are able to re-plate individual pieces of jewellery and you are welcome to contact us via email; customercare@thegentlerosejewelleryco.com or telephone us; +44 (0) 7887761620, for a tailored guide to the cost for your piece of jewellery.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your online purchase, you may return the item (s) to us, within 14 days of receipt of the order and we will be happy to exchange or refund, providing that the goods are returned in perfect condition and that they have not been worn.  If you would like to email us; enquiries@thegentlerosejewelleryco.com and advise us of your return for refund or exchange, we will be delighted to help you. We are unable to refund postage for unwanted items.
Please return items back in the original packaging with the paperwork (receipt/Paypal receipt) to:

The Gentle Rose Co, Woodbine House, Padbury, Bucks MK182BE.  When returning an item, it is extremely advisable that you ask for a proof of posting that you have sent the item to us. In our experience, we strongly suggest using Royal Mail, Special or Recorded Delivery services. We regret that we cannot be held responsible for any returned items lost in transit. Nor are we able to accept any losses incurred during return process where the item cannot be traced or proven to have been sent. 

Bespoke Jewellery and Items that have been engraved, cannot be refunded or exchanged. 

For all International Orders, Return or Exchange, please contact: enquiries@thegentlerosejewelleryco.com and we will be able to fully assist your requirements.

Upon receipt of your Return, we will credit your original method of payment from the website.This will be credited with the cost of the goods, less the initial delivery charge (exceptions may apply). We will process your return within 5 working days.

Please note that credit card companies may take an additional 3 - 5 working days to credit the refund to your account. 

 

Privacy

The Gentle Rose Jewellery Co takes your privacy as paramount and does not knowingly share or divulge any of your details with any other company or third party. We retain the information that you provide to learn no more about you other than what is required to fulfil your orders successfully. We will retain your order information ie; dates quantity, amount for accounting purposes and for any follow up enquiries in the future. We may occasionally write to you , with your permission, for news or offers from The Gentle Rose Jewellery Co. We will never over step the mark and bombard you with information, via email or post.

-our copyright and Company name The Gentle Rose Jewellery Co features in all copies and this is accepted by you.

Market infringements of our intellectual property rights is taken very seriously and we reserve the right to take any action we deem correct to protect our rights.

 

Liability

 

 Our Terms of Use, do not exclude our liability (if any) to you for:

-personal injury or death resulting from our negligence.

- fraud.

We accept no liability for computer virus infection or loss of data. We advise you should take your own safeguards before the download of any information or iimages from our website.

We reserve the right to withdraw or modify the website at any time.

Third parties

 

We try very hard not to link our website with any third parties and maintain our integrity to protect your privacy. Should this arise, we have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of such sites. Please kindly advise us and we shall welcome your feedback.

 

Governing Law

This is governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
